Image to text ratio is about 2:1. This because the images speak louder than the text. Usually represents entire magazine subgenre of main significant story. Audience will want to see more of bands live, than reading large amounts of text.


Categories for contents helps the audience to navigate the magazine but also outlines the features of it as well, Usually showing the basic connotations of the subgenre .


Use of house style in contents page of red black and white colours manages to produce a continuity which makes the brand identity more recognisable.


Use of language is specific to appeal to target audience. Words such as “kicked off”  or “festival” connote  the lively loud emotions of the subgenre and  uses words that we link in with it  e.g. “festival”.


Font of text is  Cambrian, which is informal and suggests that the magazine is trying to come across as more casual.


Reference to artist names builds up interest for the fans.
